OSLAD Grant Public Informational Meeting Wednesday, September 11 at 4:30 pm

Berkeley Park District will be hosting a Public Informational Meeting regarding OSLAD Grant application as related to Berkeley Park improvements will be held at Berkeley Park located at the NW intersection of Taft & Electric Drive in Berkeley, Illinois, on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 @ 4:30-6:00 pm. Park District residents are welcome to stop in and view the preliminary plans for the park and information related to the OSLAD Grant application that can reduce the cost of this project by as much as 50%.

Registration is now open for our Pickleball Lessons!

Want to learn to play? Our Pickleball instructors will get you on your way. Learn the rules and techniques to get you going and ready to play. Our Pickleball lessons will be held in the form of a 2 day class meeting from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm on the following dates - September 10 & 12. Join us for $20 per week.

Commit Dance Fitness class starts Tuesday, September 10!

This NEW fitness class will begin Tuesday, September 10 at 7:30 pm. There is still time to register online for this 8-week session. Class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

The next session of Music Together begins Thursday, September 12 at 10:00 am. Register online today!

Each week, a trained Music Together teacher leads the class in singing, dancing, and playing songs that range from tender lullabies to boisterous jams using child-friendly percussion instruments. Our award-winning music, illustrated songbook, and other print and online resources will help you continue the music-making fun at home and nurture your child’s musical growth—even if you don’t think of yourself as a great singer or dancer. Like parenting, making music requires no previous experience or expertise, just a willingness to get down on the floor and get silly with your child! We need your help for our Haunted Trail!

The Berkeley Park District will be hosting their annual haunted trail Wednesday October 30, 2024 from 5:30PM-8:00pm at Berkeley Park (east end of the park ), but this year we are inviting the community to be a part of the event.

If you would like to bring a table and decorate along the prairie path or decorate your trunk and pass out goodies to the kids , we would love to have you at the event. Registration is free. Please fill out a contact form at the link below.
