Our next session of Music Together begins on Thursday, April 6 at 9:15am.
The cornerstone of the Music Together® program is our Mixed-Age music class, for children from birth through age 5—and the grownups who love them! Classes are active music-making experiences, designed to teach the way children learn: through play with the grownups they love. Gathering babies, toddlers, and preschoolers together makes each class fun for all.
Each week, a trained Music Together teacher leads the class in singing, dancing, and playing songs that range from tender lullabies to boisterous jams using child-friendly percussion instruments. Our award-winning music, illustrated songbook, and other print and online resources will help you continue the music-making fun at home and nurture your child’s musical growth—even if you don’t think of yourself as a great singer or dancer. Like parenting, making music requires no previous experience or expertise, just a willingness to get down on the floor and get silly with your child!
Do not hop away from this eggciting annual Easter event. On Saturday, April 8, the Easter Bunny will meet you at Berkeley Park to lead you in a show of songs and dances. After the show, we will go on our great big Easter egg hunt. Children will be grouped by age for the egg hunt. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be held at Lind Park.
This event is FREE to the public and best suited for children under the age of 9. This in a drop in event and does not require registration.
Your little one will only be little for so long; let us help you capture these precious moments together in an artsy way! In this class you'll work together with your young artist to create adorable keepsakes to display at home or give away as very special gifts. From artwork featuring your child's own little handprints to a darling self-portrait on a real canvas board and more, you'll treasure these mementos for decades to come.

The pickle ball courts are open! Want to play but do not have a racquet? Berkeley Park District and the Berkeley Public Library have partnered together so that you are able to check out a pair of pickle ball racquets with 2 balls at the library. No charge.
On Saturday January 8, the Berkeley Park District hosted an Open House to discuss Berkeley Park improvements. The Park District has been working hard gathering information and getting input from the community. We put all that information together to give an overview and share what we have assembled.
